Granby Elementary is seeking a dedicated K-3 Literacy Interventionist to join our team for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This position is funded through the Colorado Department of Education’s (CDE) Early Literacy Grant supplemental funds. The salary will be determined according to the certified salary schedule, based on education and experience as outlined in district policy.

This role focuses on providing targeted support to early learners, fostering foundational literacy skills, and helping students achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Deliver small-group and one-on-one literacy interventions for students in grades K-3.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.

 

• Use data to monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and communicate outcomes with staff and families.
• Support a positive and engaging learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students.
• Actively participate in the Literacy Committee to enhance instructional practices and support schoolwide literacy goals.

Qualifications:

• Current teacher certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Experience in early childhood or elementary education is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of literacy development and evidence-based intervention strategies.
